What It Is
TaskMenuBar is a control panel that utilizes the empty space on the menu bar.
As you launch applications, icons will appear on the menu bar as shown in the title frame.
Using these application icons, you can:
- Switch applications.
- Launch applications.
- Hide other applications.
- Quit Applications.
- Open document files by Macintosh drag and drop.
- Show the clipboard and the "About This Computer" window.
- Access to all mounted volumes.
- Select the default printer.
- Eject removable volumes.
- Open URLs.
You can also add items that always stay on the menu bar (on the right side of the "separator").
Using these item icons you can:
- Open document files and folders by mouse clicks.
- Move or copy files to folders and volumes.
- Access to files and folders from drop down menus.
- Print document files and choose the default desktop printer.
- Move files to the trash and empty the trash.
- Save URLs to folders.
Because it is on the menu bar, unlike other utilities,
it will never obscure, or be obscured by, other windows.
